Beijing denounces G7 statements for the China Sea

China denounced a statement by the G7 in the wake of the summit in Taormina where the seven richest states voiced their concern over the tensions in China’s sea between Beijing and its neighbors.

In the final statement published Saturday at the end of the summit in Sicily, the G7 countries strongly opposed any unilateral mass that could fuel tensions in this part of the globe.

Beijing is in a delicate climate with Tokyo over the sovereignty of the islands in the eastern China Sea, while the Chinese regime rejects its neighbors (the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Taiwan) for the South China Sea, claiming almost all of this territory.

Occupied by the Philippines, the international tribunal rejected Beijing’s claims last year in the South China Sea, but the communist regime chose to ignore this decision.
