The Portuguese was notching goals for fun in training ahead of Los Blancos’ clash with Celta Vigo this weekend
Cristiano Ronaldo has a tendency to embarrass his teammates in training.
Or rather just pick on Fabio Coentrao – something he apparently takes a lot of pleasure in doing every single week.
But in Real Madrid’s latest training session ahead of their La Liga clash with Celta Vigo this weekend, there was another player on the 31-year-old’s radar…
The above video shows the Portuguese latching on the end of a cross and running at Ruben Yanez in the Los Blancos goal.
The 23-year-old stands his ground, makes himself big, and anticipates what’s to come from the legendary forward.
And he doesn’t have to wait long to find out as Ronaldo suddenly steps over the ball with his right foot, throwing him off balance.
Second, later CR7 rolls the ball to the left with his other foot before sprinting after it.
Yanez promptly follows and chases the striker down. He attempts to jump at his feet to block any shot on goal.
But unfortunately he just isn’t quick enough and Ronaldo simply side-foots the ball into the net.
