Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was in business mode on Tuesday.
Portugal play friendlies against Saudi Arabia and the USA during the international break but Ronaldo is being rested after helping his country qualify for the World Cup.
The 32-year-old is not completely resting, though, as shown by his latest Instagram post. Ronaldo shared a photo of himself and associate Miguel Paixao on a private plane, along with the words: ‘Business trip with my partner’.
Former Manchester United winger Ronaldo topped the Forbes’ Rich List of sport stars last month after earning £71m over 12 months.
Ronaldo’s Real salary only accounts for about two thirds of his income.
He also makes a lot of money from lucrative sponsorship deals, with Nike, PokerStars and Tag Heuer among the brands he has promoted.
But Ronaldo is a keen businessman and has used his own CR7 brand to create a wide variety of products and services.
He has his own gym franchise and has also lent his name to blankets, shoes underwear, perfume and a hotel.
